Pfun Run

The 2026 Deutschen Pfest Pfun Run invites participants of all ages to kick off the celebration in a fun, high-energy community race beginning at Pfluger Park. Runners will enjoy a lively course filled with entertainment, including cheer stations, live music, and community support that captures the spirit of Deutschen Pfest from start to finish.

Whether you’re racing for time or just running for pfun, our signature Pfun Run event blends pfitness, pfestival vibes, and community celebration into one unforgettable morning.

When: Saturday, October 17, 2026
Runs: The Pfun Run features both a Kids 1K and the annual 5K
Starting Location: The run will start from the heart of Deutschen Pfest – Pfluger Park!
Course: The course follows an out-and-back layout, starting at Pfluger Park, following the
Gilleland Creek Trail to Windermere Park and returning to Pfluger Park.
MORE PFUN: Along the route, enjoy cheer stations from your favorite organizations and live polka music!

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS

Because there is no parking available at Pfluger Park during Deutschen Pfest, we offer several easy and convenient ways to get to the Pfestival so you can focus on having fun once you arrive.

SHUTTLES

PFREE parking at The Pfield
(1440 W. Pecan, Pflugerville, TX 78660)
and catch a PFREE shuttle to downtown!

ADA PARKING

ADA Parking is available at Gilleland Creek Pool.

CHECK-IN REGISTRATION

Tickets:
- Be sure to purchase your Pfun Run tickets below when they go on sale. Your Pfun Run registration includes PFREE entry into the park, so a separate general admission ticket is not required.
Check-In:
- All participants will check-in at the main Pfluger Park entrance gate where the Shuttles will arrive.
  - Please have your Pfun Run confirmation email and QR code ready to scan for check-in.
Packet Pickup:
- Packet pickup will be available before race day so you can get your race materials (including your t-shirt) and ask any questions ahead of time.
- Packet Pickup Location and Times:
  - Thursday, October 15
    - Pflugerville Recreation Center; 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  - Friday, October 16
    - Pflugerville Recreation Center; 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  - Race Day – Saturday, October 17
